June 2008

Summer has arrived with nice albeit windy weather.  The high pressure system that took up residence over the Carolinas has finally moved east and allowed the winds to subside.  Our Memorial Day Bar B Que was a lot of fun.  There was little food left, so I will call it a success.  Thanks to our many friends and customers who helped out with food and labor.  Also, a very special thanks to Mike Molleston and our culinary friends from Hattisburg, George and
Phil, for an outstanding crayfish boil over Memorial day.  Also, while we are on the subject of food, We will be cooking on the 4th of July and hope to see you.

Fuel seems to be the topic of the day.  We are doing all that we can to keep our prices as low as possible while still offering the best quality of fuel available.  You may have noticed that we no longer carry Shell Gasoline.  We are carrying Valvtect marine fuels.  Valvtect is formulated with stabilizers and additives to create an optimum marine fuel.  for more information, go to the website www.valvtect.com/marine_fules.asp .   With the current price of fuels, keeping your engine tuned up is also important. The mechanics are working with a backlog, so plan maintenance ahead of time.

As you can see below we have gone to our summer schedule.  If you want your boat launched or put up, please try to be here by 6:30 PM.
